It has been another difficult season for Kaizer Chiefs despite the club signing 10 new players.

After 20 league matches, Amakhosi have won just eight and currently occupy eight in the Betway Premiership standings. Nasreddine Nabi has brought in fresh blood into the team and the likes of Rushwin Dortley, Thabo Cele, Makabi Lilepo, Gaston Sirinoand Miguel Inacio have impressed since joining the Soweto giants.

With pre-season just four months away, the Tunisian tactician will release several players to make way for new signings. According to Soccer Laduma, one player poised for an exit is Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Ngcobo has struggled for gametime

“You remember, they (Chiefs) were supposed to loan him (Ngcobo) out at the start of the season but with injuries and lack of signings in that position they kept him but still he hasn’t played that much compared to other midfielders because he is not in the coach’s plans. So the technical team and management have agreed that the best solution is to loan him out next season,” a source told the publication.

Kaizer Chiefs have currently loaned Christian Saileand Mduduzi Mdantsane. The duo are unlikely to return irrespective of how good they play in their respective clubs.

Anothe player who could leave is none other than Ranga Chivaviro. The big striker impressed Nabi early on this season but has since faded and fell down the pecking order.

Edson Castillo has missed much of the season due to an injury. Kaizer Chiefs need a player like him in the middle but with the likes of Yusuf Maart, Cele and Sibongiseni Mthethwa, the Soweto giantsmight be promoted to sell the South American.
