David Beckham is back in the spotlight, this time trading in his tailored suits for, well, a lot less fabric.
As he approaches the big 5-0, the soccer legend has decided that the best way to celebrate is by posing in his BOSS ONE Bodywear collection.
Yes, you heard that right—underwear.
In a world where most people are contemplating retirement at his age, Beckham is strutting around in snug black and white boxers. Proving once again that he’s not just a pretty face but a marketing genius.
The advert is filmed by acclaimed fashion photography pair Mert and Marcus. The short film features Beckham stripping down to tight briefs to Phil Collin’s, In the Air Tonight.
UNDERWEAR MODELLING AT 49 YEARS OLD
At a bash in London on Thursday night, he was unveiled as the face of this new line, bringing back memories of his earlier days as an underwear model. The 49-year-old had previous underwear gigs modelling for Emporio Armani and H&M.
He told Hollywood Reporter, “I once said that my underwear modelling days had come to an end, but when Boss shared their ambition for the range and brought in my good friends Mert and Marcus to shoot the campaign with their brilliant creative ideas, I simply couldn’t refuse.”
Fans took to social media to express their…admiration.
“Thank you, God, for creating David Beckham,” one fan replied on Instagram.
“I feel like I need to go to confession for looking at this married man…and I’m not even Catholic.,” was one comment.
“WOW!! Absolutely stunning and perfect,” said another reply.
“We’re only watching it for the third time because we’re still not sure what type of car it is?!” another fan said.
SOME THINGS GET BETTER WITH AGE
Whether it’s nostalgia for his early modelling days or sheer awe at his ageless physique, one thing is certain—David Beckham still knows how to turn heads.
As fans continue to swoon over the ad, Beckham once again cements his status as both a sporting legend and a marketing powerhouse.
