Makhadzi gets dragged on social media over poor treatment of her VIP fans who attended the One Woman show over the weekend.
A fan whose Twitter name is Peace took to social media to express disappointment over the experience at the singer’s recent event.
He detailed grievances about the premium package they purchased for R16,000, criticized the lack of promised amenities and the overall organization.
The fan explained that the R16k package was split between eight friends, covering R8,000 for tickets (R1,000 per person) and R8,000 for a bar tab.
However, upon arrival, they found discrepancies in what was advertised versus what was delivered.
“We paid for Marquee tickets that was R16k. Lol, there’s no marquee on sight, just a stadium suite, no glasses, no ice bucket. This is the alcohol we have ke😂😂😂😂 @MakhadziSA?” he tweeted, attaching a photo of the setup.
Also to make things clear. The R16k was not for one person. They had table packages that where being sold. Because there was 8 of us as friends we paid R16k which was divided into 2, R8k was for tickets(R1000 x 8people) and R8k was for a bar tab. https://t.co/JjpxqQLuMB

The fan further expressed frustration, demanding a refund: “You will refund me ke because I am not letting this BS slide @MakhadziSA.”
Despite the logistical issues, he acknowledged the quality of performances by Makhadzi and other artists, adding: “I am not going to take away the great performances Makhadzi and all the other artists gave, but I am not letting go of the horrible experience I encountered. For an event that was planned from January.”
The incident has sparked a broader conversation online as some defended the music star, while others could relate to Peace’s complaints.
Fans are waiting to see if Makhadzi or the event organizers will address the concerns raised.
