KERISHNIE NAIKER: ‘I WAS ACCIDENTALLY INJURED’

The former Miss SA turned pharmacist, Kerishnie Naicker reveals on her Instagram account that she was accidentally injured by a tourist a few months ago.

Zimoja reports the former beauty queen fell down a flight of stairs and was accidentally pushed by a tourist while trying to take a selfie.

Naicker reportedly told her followers: “I was accidentally tripped by a tourist while she was taking photographs.”

She also revealed that the incident took place while on stairs from the lighthouse at Cape Point. Naicker was rushed to Netcare Hospital by helicopter and spent nearly four months in hospital. She said she is thankful that she was only injured in the leg.

“Even though I’m thankful that I did not injure my head, I did incur a serious injury,” she said.

“I was accidentally injured on 1st May by a tourist taking photos. These pics were taken during May and June this year. Last photo was taken minutes before I was injured. Thank you for all your well wishes and concern. Every unaided step these days is a celebration,” says Naicker on her Instagram.
