Emtee addresses alcoholism rumors, stresses his sobriety and focus

Emtee has revisited allegations about his alleged struggles with alcohol, firmly dismissing the rumors.

The rapper’s speech patterns have often led to assumptions that he is frequently intoxicated or under the influence of hard substances.

Months ago, Emtee clarified that he does not consume alcohol. However, he recently shared that he uses cannabis, emphasizing that his sobriety is not a point of pride but a personal choice.

“I’m sober now. I’ve been (only cannabis) for a while, and I don’t believe sobriety is a flex. I thought y’all would learn from DIY3. I respect e’body, but e’ybody don’t respect me. Guess what, I’m still alive, which means kusazokakwa,” he wrote.

The rapper also expressed frustration over continued disrespect, including being labeled “Phara” — a derogatory term — despite repeatedly denying it.

“Y’all still callin’ me ‘Phara’!? How many times must I prove y’all wrong? FYI, I’m sober, locked in, and focused. So all you non-motion-having ass low lives don’t wanna learn,” he added.
