Elon Musk’s generative artificial intelligence (AI) has had X (formerly Twitter) users raising their eyebrows, as despite the question being asked, all it can seem to talk about is the ‘white genocide’ taking place in SA, as alleged by its owner.

When introducing this current version, Elon dubbed Grok as the smartest AI on earth, however, its actions lately have caused much doubt. Frequent users of the app have noted that whatever question it’s asked, the answer reverts back to the white genocide that Elon Musk, Donald Trump and Afriforum have alleged is taking place in South Africa.

It is important to note that before, the AI had provided relatively accurate information regarding the matter, including how the topic is a largely controversial one, as some member of the public, particularly members of Afriforum and the likes, have claimed that white farmers are being disproportionately targeted and murdered, while other deny any claims of this happening, revealing that crime is countrywide issue, rather than a white farmer issue.

As expected, users have criticised the technology, along with its owner Elon Musk. They have also accused the South-African born businessman of reprogramming his technology to push a false narrative, and have highlighted the dangers that come with this.

Furthermore, users have highlighted that the South African government was right to not allow Elon to establish his Starlink in the country, as he has he could pull a similar stunt, backing the country into a corner.
