Award-winning music producer and Amapiano heavyweight DJ Maphorisa is once again dominating social media, but this time, it’s not because of a hit single.
Instead, he’s trending for a fiery confrontation with fellow producer Shaun 101 during a night out that took an unexpected turn.
The altercation, which reportedly happened on Wednesday, 9 July 2025, took place at an undisclosed nightclub where Maphorisa was hanging out with regular collaborators Kabza De Small, Kelvin Momo, and Shaun 101 himself.
What began as a relaxed evening among Amapiano’s elite quickly turned tense when a disagreement between Maphorisa and Shaun 101 erupted in front of partygoers.
A now-viral clip posted by @Maluda012 on X captured the heated moment.
In the video, Maphorisa can be seen interrupting his own chill, mid-spliff roll, to point angrily at Shaun 101, clearly upset as he raised his voice during the verbal clash.
