Fresh off her return to Metro FM, media personality Dineo Ranaka has announced another milestone: a brand-new talk show, The DRS — short for The Dineo Ranaka Show.
The show will premiere on YouTube on Monday, 28 April at 4pm on Dineo’s official channel.
The seasoned media personality will serve as the presenter, creator, and executive producer of The DRS.
In a statement announcing the show, Dineo emphasised that The DRS is a show, not a podcast.
She said the show aims to revive the spirit of traditional talk shows in a digital format, offering viewers a mix of authenticity, humour, and relevance.
“I feel this show will grow into something that feels nostalgic yet current and contemporary all at the same time,” she added.

The show promises a diverse line-up of guests — from unsung everyday heroes to subject-matter experts and well-known celebrities.
Inspired by talk show legends such as Felicia Mabuza-Suttle, Noleen Maholwana-Sangqu, Ellen DeGeneres, and Oprah Winfrey, Dineo said she hopes to shake up the YouTube space.
“My experience in broadcasting, especially radio broadcasting, will come in handy where revenue generation is concerned. I hope to shake up the YouTube space and create a name for myself as a formidable talk show host.
“Right up there with the Felicias, Noleens, Ellens, and Oprahs of the world. It is time I shared with the world my full capabilities in this regard. I intend to give the world me as I’ve been experienced before,” she added.
