Internet users reacted to the R22 Crocs sale, as they rushed to purchase their latest pair of the renowned shoe brand.
This year the shoe brand celebrated its birthday which they called Croctober rewarding valuable customers with a R22 sale. As internet users rushed to place their online orders some thought that it was a scam and delayed their purchases, unfortunately leading them to miss out on the fun.
This sale had been running throughout October and celebrated the shoe brand’s comfortable, versatile and funky shoes. For some people, Crocs are their go-to footwear on days they are a bit too lazy to wear formal shoes.
Crocs are known to go with just about everything and are extremely comfortable for long walks.
According to news publication The Drum, this month-long celebration was meant to bring customers together in a creative setting.
Describing this strategy the brand added, “These fans deserved a strategy that matched their unparalleled creative energy, so we made them the main characters and voices of Croctober. From making them the heroes of our content and crowning our first group of Croc Stars to creating a tribute to them in the literal night sky with a constellation of stars, we were determined to centre our fans in everything we do, including our design process.”
