Cops launch investigation decomposed body found on Devil’s Peak

Woodstock police have launched an investigation into the death of a 44-year-old male following the discovery of a badly decomposed body on Devil’s Peak in Cape Town this week, Cape {town} Etc reports.

Police were called to the scene on Thursday after the body was discovered by Table Mountain Park Rangers shortly after 16:00.

The deceased’s identity card, cellphone and car keys were found in his pocket.

A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the possible cause of death.
