Rachel Kolisi spending Christmas without Siya?
Rachel Kolisi, her two children, and Siya’s sister Liyema, recently returned to South Africa after a family vacation in Australia. Joining in on their family fun were Rachel’s brother Joel Smith and also his wife, former Olympic swimmer, Tatjana Smith.
Early yesterday morning, 24 December 2024, Rachel posted on Facebook: ‘Never easy to leave, unbelievably grateful for the opportunity to travel and have this time. We’ve had a 31 hour travel home (so far) after a 4 hours delayed flight and missed connect. Excited to get home and celebrate our reason.’
Popular local comedian Marc Lottering and his husband posted a photo wishing fans a happy Christmas Eve.
Christmas wishes from the Hofmeyrs
Musician Steve Hofmeyr posted a photo with a true South African element – the braai – and the following message:
‘Ons braai bietjie. Geseënde Kersfees van die Hofmeyrs. Omring jou met die wat jou liefhet! Kies die dag om hulle te sê dat jy hulle liefhet.’
Translated into English, it reads: We are braaiing. Merry Christmas from the Hofmeyrs. Surround yourself with those who love you! Choose the day to tell them that you love them.
He has taken two days off to spend with his wife and young daughter before heading to Gqeberha to perform at the Aweh Somerfees.
