A little birdie has whispered in our ears that former Muvhango actress Buhle Samuels has found herself in hot water with authorities as she faces charges of fraud and forgery in relation to the infamous birthday Porsche that once made waves on social media.

The day some X users have been anticipatedly waiting on has arrived: the day the truth behind Buhle Samuel’s infamous Porsche is revealed, as the actress reportedly faces fraud and forgery charges. This comes after the Kings of Joburg star made waves on social media after taking to her social media to show off her luxurious Porsche, which she had reportedly copped for her birthday.

The purchase caused much chatter on the social media streets as users raised their eyebrows, revealing scepticism regarding how the popular figure attained the funds to purchase the luxury car, as they are under the impression that acting, and South Africa’s entertainment industry as a whole, does not compensate them enough. Consequently, some speculations came about, and some users revealed that they believe that Vuyisa Mqokiyana, who was rumoured to have moved on from Asavela Mqokiyana to Buhle Samuels, had something to do with the purchase.

Fast-forwarding to the present day, the actress is making waves on social media once more, as the public’s suspicions appear to ring true, as MDN News reports that she is currently facing legal trouble, with charges of fraud and forgery levelled against her. According to the aforementioned commentator, Buhle appeared in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court, “where she stands accused of falsifying company documents and forging signatures to acquire the high-end vehicle.”

The popular vehicle has since been seized by authorities, as it is being held as evidence in the investigation. The actress is set to return to court again 0n 16 May 2025

According to Maphephandaba, the actress pleads innocence and denies any involvement in criminal activity.

“The allegations are false,” she stated, adding, “The truth will reveal itself in due course,” she tells the publication.
