South Africa’s ‘Queen B’, Bonang Matheba, dazzled fans and fashion enthusiasts alike at the L’Oréal Paris ‘Walk Your Worth’ fashion show in Franschhoek.

Held on 22 November, the glamorous event celebrated empowerment and diversity. It also celebrated South African talent against the breathtaking backdrop of the Cape Winelands.

BONANG TAKES CENTRE STAGE

Bonang, a style icon and media personality, effortlessly stole the spotlight as she graced the star-studded runway.

Donning bold designs from South Africa’s top fashion houses, she proved once again why she reigns supreme, according to IOL.

Fans cheered as she showcased looks that epitomised elegance and confidence. Her appearance underscored the event’s theme of inclusivity and self-worth.

“It’s about celebrating who you are,” Bonang said during a pre-show interview. “Fashion is a tool for empowerment, and tonight we’re showing the world what South Africans can do.”

BONANG AT THE ‘WALK YOUR WORTH’ FASHION SHOW

The ‘Walk Your Worth’ fashion show is inspired by L’Oréal Paris’ legendary “Le Défilé” in Paris. It has brought together some of the country’s finest talent.

Designers Rich Mnisi, Tshepo Jeans, KLûK CGDT, and Mantsho presented collections that blended modernity with South African heritage.

Each piece reflected the vibrancy and creativity of the local fashion scene.

BONANG’S INCREDIBLE WORK

Bonang’s role went beyond just modelling. Her larger-than-life presence added gravitas to the event’s cultural significance.

Known for her philanthropic work and passion for empowering young women, according to Forbes, she seamlessly aligned with the show’s mission.

Sharing the limelight was international actress and L’Oréal Paris sub-Saharan Africa ambassador Thuso Mbedu.

She received roaring applause.

The audience included reigning Miss South Africa Mia le Roux, TV icon Leanne Manas, and a host of influential figures in fashion and media.

Despite the stellar line-up, Bonang’s star power was undeniable.

From her poised walk down the runway to her dazzling smile during backstage interviews, she captivated everyone present.
