South Africans slam Anele Mdoda for urging people to boycott Chris Brown’s show

South African media personality Anele Mdoda faces huge backlash as she joins the Women For Change organisation to cancel Chris Brown’s concert.

The US star will be in South Africa this December, for a two-day concert which he sold out in two hours.

The above-mentioned organisation revisited Chris’ past record of being an abuser, and they’ve asked South Africans to sign petition to have the musician’s concert cancelled.

Mzansi is divided over this petition; while many signed it, others showed their support for the music star.

Chris Brown jumped on the post, and dismissed the threat with “Can’t wait to come.”

Reacting to Brown’s comment, Anele Mdoda wrote, “I was not going to comment on this Chris Brown saga cause I think people must do what they want with their money but This is sh!t.”

Anele’s tweet landed her in hot water as social media users cooked her through her friend, Somizi Mhlongo who made headlines due to sexual assault allegation.

“Whoever is protesting, they must also protest at their uncles house. Because in a country where GBV happens everyday, I’m sure somebody knows an abuser more closer to home than Chris Breezy,” a tweep commented.

“Anele aren’t you friend with Somizi who also abused young boys?????” another user asked.

“All I see is selective outrage with women in South Africa. If we’re going to boycott abusers we must boycott all of them,” tweep wrote.
