While many people consider pretzels an ideal food before boarding a plane, their greasy texture can cause trouble in the digestive system. So, it is healthier to avoid it at all times.

Salads are good, but it is advisable to avoid them at the airport restaurants. They mostly use unkempt raw ingredients that may be loaded with bacteria and can make you ill.

Most of the sandwiches at the airport are unlabeled and are cold sandwiches, which have no expiry date and can be harmful. Also, the bread used for such sandwiches is not fresh.

Shopping a bag full of candy at the airport kiosks is not a good idea. It is said that those candies are loaded with sugar and chemicals, and too many candies can make you nauseous, which is uncomfortable.

While sushi looks tempting and a non-messy food choice, most of us forget that sushi contains raw ingredients, which, when stored at the wrong temperature for a long time, can cause serious illness. So, you must never have sushi at the airport.
8. Burgers
They are said to be stale and are mostly uncooked, which becomes the breeding ground for bacteria, which can give you an upset stomach. Hence, it is advisable to avoid them.
