It’s an exciting morning for Kaizer Chiefs fans. The Betway Premiership giants have signed a new central midfielder.
The former SuperSport United, Orlando Pirates, and Maritzburg United midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu will wear gold and black next season.
Ndlovu becomes Kaizer Chiefs’ sixth signing this term after Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako, Nkanyiso Shinga, Ethan Chislett, and Flavio Silva.

“Kaizer Chiefs’ blueprint for strengthening the squad ahead of the new 2025/26 season continues to take shape with the acquisition of Siphesihle Ndlovu,” the Glamour Boys confirmed.

“Previously with SuperSport United, for whom he played 28 matches in all competitions last season, the energetic midfielder and will add skill and valuable experience to Amakhosi’s midfield.
“The 28-year-old, who was born in Pietermaritzburg, is set to join his new teammates in the Netherlands within the next few days once all the travel arrangements have been finalised,” the club added.

The 28-year-old’s arrival means coach Nasreddine Nabi will have six creative midfielders at his disposal.

Meanwhile, reports say a new defensive midfielder is coach Nabi’s next transfer target.

In the meantime, the Glamour Boys have arrived in the Netherlands for a three-week pre-season training camp, which will include five friendly games.
“As part of the tour, Amakhosi will play five friendly matches against Dutch top-tier sides from both the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie,” the club confirmed. “Four of the matches will be open to the public, with one being held behind closed doors,” Amakhosi added.
