The City of Ekurhuleni will conduct planned maintenance, which will result in a12-hour water outage in parts of Boksburg, Gauteng.
The maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, 20 March from 8:00 – 20:00.
GAUTENG METRO SCHEDULES 12-HOUR WATER OUTAGE
In a brief statement, the metro municipality said water tankers will be provided to areas with no water as a result of the maintenance.
Here are the affected suburbs:
- Witkoppie Ridge
- Impala Park
- Bartlett
- Bardene
- Beyerspark
- Westwood
- Ravenswood
- Anderbolt
- Dunswart
- Atlasville
- Parkhaven
PLANNED ELECTRICITY INTERRUPTION POSTPONED
Parts of Ekurhuleni would have experienced a water outage and a power outage this week, however, the metro municipality has postponed the planned 12-hour power supply interruption.
The maintenance which would’ve taken place on Tuesday, 18 March was scheduled from 8:00 – 20:00.
Here are the areas that would’ve been affected by the power interruption:
- Wadeville
- Albemarle
- Castleview
- Dinwiddie
- Union
- Phumula
- Mapleton Ext 10
- Buhle Park
- Rondebult including extensions
- Roodekop Industries
- Leondale and surroundings
