Thanks to their huge following, the two often trend whenever they post or get posted. The now-viral photos of the Yizo Yizo stars were first shared on X, formerly Twitter.

Surprisingly, they made headlines barely a few months after the two were reported to be down and out after failing to secure acting gigs.

The publication has since established that the now-viral photo was taken in Mpumalanga. Ronnie Nyakale and Innocent Masuku were spotted buying bunny chows in Mashingshing.

Popular X user @Carolinerathabe first shared the post and captioned it, “They came to taste Rakgadi’s kota).”

Against the post, fans quickly flooded social media with their two cents. While fans praised their good gesture, others quickly noted Innocent Masuku’s health.

At some point a few years ago, Innocent Masuku was down and out and once reached out to the public for help. He reportedly had a problem with alcohol and drugs.

On the other hand, other fans were quick to praise the stars and wish them big wins in 2025.

MAKING HEADLINES

However, this is not the first time the two have made headlines. Last year, Ronnie Nyakale made headlines when he switched floors from acting to e-hailing driving.

His venture as a Bolt driver has been widely shared across social media platforms, with many fans documenting their rides with him and praising his work ethic.

Last year, Innocent Masuku also made headlines after his drunk video flooded online. The video seemingly left many concerned.

However, against the viral video, ZiMoja established that Innocent Masuku had a relapse. ZiMoja added that those close to him had given up since there was no change.

Speaking on anonymity, the source said, “Trust me, we have all tried to help him, but it doesn’t seem like there is hope. He will shout when he needs help.”

Another source revealed that Innocent Masuku often disappears for days without informing anyone about his whereabouts.

“A TV producer tried to help him get gigs but would not show up for auditions and screen testing. Most industry people have given up on him as talented as he is,” added another source.
