Miss SA 2023 Natasha Joubert is officially a married woman after walking down the aisle to her to her partner Enrico Vermaak at a dream wedding last weekend.

The couple – who have been dating since they were young teenagers – got engaged a year ago on a romantic yacht cruise.

On Sunday, 16 March, Natasha Joubert wed Enrico Vermaak at the picturesque venue of the Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands.

The beauty queen wore a bespoke wedding gown to her wedding ceremony and two more at her reception.

The tastefully-decorated ceremony and reception venues were filled with lighter, dancing and plenty of champagne as guests celebrated the nuptials.

From teen sweethearts to husband and wife

Natasha and Enrico – an IT guru – began dating as early as 2015, when she was just 18 years old.

He captioned their first pic as a couple: “You make me happy.” Natasha replied: “I could say the same.”

Nicknamed ‘Mr SA’ by default

Enrico has been aware and supportive of Natasha Joubert’s pageant dreams, including being Miss SA.

Ahead of her first stint at the Miss SA competition in 2020, Enrico shared: “You have dreamt about today since the day I met you, and today is your day.

“No matter what, you will always be the queen in my heart. Enjoy today and embrace every second”.

Enrico supported his brunette bae’s decision to re-enter the pageant. He shared before the finale: “I can’t wait to see you shine even brighter. You’re not just a contestant. You’re one of the most inspiring women I know. Rooting for you always!”

Following her crowning, Enrico has remained a pillar of support and has even been jokingly called “Mr SA by default.”
