There have been a good couple of chilly days around large parts of SA this week, but things are quite literally looking a lot brighter for the weather this weekend.
According to the SA Weather Service, the forecast around South Africa for Saturday and Sunday looks pleasant and warm, providing a perfect reprieve after a cold front swept across the country this week.
In Cape Town, Saturday will be a beautiful day with minimal wind, clear skies and temperatures of up to 21°C. It looks largely similar on Sunday, just slightly cooler for most of the day.
After a cold couple of days in Johannesburg, temperatures have begun to rise, and this weekend that should reach a high of 18°C, with clear skies and virtually no wind forecast.
A wonderful weekend lies ahead in Durban, where temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will be around 21°C, with no cloud cover or wind to speak of.
Meanwhile, it’s the residents of Gqeberha who will be basking in the sunshine, with Saturday reaching a high of 24°C, while Sunday looks like a scorcher for this time of year as temperatures could peak at 27°C.
The forecast below shows how it looks set to be a very pleasant weather weekend countrywide.
