The renowned DJ and producer recently celebrated his 38th birthday and the soiree is the current talk of the town as our favourite celebrities recap at the unforgettable event.

Although his integrity has come into question multiple times throughout his long career, DJ Maphorisa has had one of the most impactful careers in South Africa’s music industry, as his career spans back to the glorious ‘Uhuru’ days.

This month, the controversial figure celebrated his 37th birthday, and he ensured to do so in impeccable style at his “Xmas Came Early’ bash,

Madumane set the tone of the celebration from the start with one of the most extravagant and luxurious invites we have seen this year, personalised and carefully packaged with a side of an entire bouquet of white roses for his star-studded guestlist that included the whose-who of Mzansi’s music and entertainment industry.

Judging by the event’s decor, Maphorisa wanted guests to make no mistakes as to whose event it was, as his name and face covered every corner of the building. Paired with wonderful food, unforgettable entertainment and wonderful company, the event came and went successfully and will go down as one of the most memorable moments for our celebrities.

The ‘All-black’ theme saw our celebrities put together some of their best outfits, while they rub shoulders with other A-listers. Of course, there were some hits and some misses as some of our favourites did not keep it cutesy or demure in any way. The birthday boy, on the other hand, had to show everyone how it is done and stunned in his all-black Relevance For Men (RFM) suit, letting go of his usual casual style for the day.
