With the summer heat providing South African celebrities the opportunity to explore international travels, mzansi’s prominent couple Tyler ICU and his partner Lorraine Morpopa have made full use of their getaway.
The iconic music figure and the prominent actress recently found themselves jetting to one of South Africa’s most beautiful neighbouring Islands – Zanzibar. It is here where they fully immersed themselves in the breathtaking surroundings and all that the country has had to offer.
If Lorraine had thought that sightseeing was the only reason they had travelled so far, she would definitely have been mistaken. This comes after the We Find Love hitmaker decided that he would not leave the country before he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
Taking to Instagram, an ecstatic Lorraine shared news of their engagement with her followers.
In the post which showcases their union, she wrote: “The third of January was supposed to be Baba ka boy’s birthday, but it also became the beginning of the rest of my life.”
She continued: “I said YES to a Forever with my best friend. I couldn’t be more grateful to God for this wonderful gift of love.”
Taking to the comment section many of their friends and industry colleagues shared messages congratulating the couple.
Gogo Skhotheni wrote: “Babe congratulations may God bless your union.”
Also entering the comments was Refilwe Modiselle, who commented: “Congratulations. God cover you both in his divine protection.”
In another post, Lorraine provided followers with a glimpse of her surroundings where she also reintroduced herself as, “Mama ICU.”
