Paris Fashion Week always brings the glitz and glamour. But this year, it had a distinct South African flavour. Our very own Tyla, the sensational singer setting the world alight, celebrated her British Vogue cover with an exclusive party.

The event, hosted by Vogue‘s head of editorial content, Chioma Nnadi, took place at Bar des Prés.

TYLA PARTIES IN PARIS

It’s a swanky spot in Paris, known for its fusion of French and Japanese cuisine, according to Vogue.

The guest list? Star-studded. Alexa Chung, Ice Spice, and a host of other fashion royalty showed up. They were all eager to celebrate Tyla’s incredible achievement.

The dress code seemed to be “chic black,” which is peak Paris fashion. But the atmosphere was anything but subdued.

TYLA STARTS THE PARTY

As the bubbly flowed, guests sipped on Tokyo Garden cocktails. The menu featured delights like crispy rice, salmon, and slow-cooked Black Pearl beef.

But the real party starter? DJ Zezi Ifore, who spun a mix of R&B, Afrobeats, and, of course, Amapiano, according to Soap Central.

Tyla herself arrived at 9 pm, dressed in a Jean Paul Gaultier minidress. It was a wild combo of black tailoring and white tulle, as she danced her way into the party.

Tyla was flanked by her family, beaming with pride.

THE VOGUE COVER

She took a moment to express her excitement about the Vogue cover, according to Reality Tea.

“It’s literally insane,” she exclaimed. “I remember just looking at all the Vogue covers when I was younger and hoping maybe one day I would grace the cover of Vogue.

So I’m really blessed to be on the cover of British Vogue. It is, very, very sexy! Okay enough of that, let’s start the party again!” And start the party she did.

PUSH 2 START

When Push 2 Start came on, Tyla gave everyone an impromptu performance. The crowd went wild, singing and dancing along.

The celebrations continued late into the night, as Tyla danced to her hit song Water and even belted out Beyoncé’s Heated word for word.

TYLA, THE RISING STAR

A massive cake tower of chocolate marshmallows, complete with sparklers, marked the high point of the evening.

Tyla left the party as she arrived – dancing. This is one South African star who is definitely making waves on the world stage.

And she’s doing it with style, grace, and a whole lot of gees!
