Two PSL clubs eyeing Kaizer Chiefs’ Christian Saile!

Kaizer Chiefs winger Christian Saile has failed to score this season, featuring six times in what has been a lacklustre campaign for the Soweto outfit.

Nasreddine Nabi has been vocal about his desire to sign more attackers during the January transfer window, and it appears they’re ready to sell Saile to do so.

The Congolese international was one of Kaizer Chiefs’ most trusted men last season, playing in all thirty league games but only managed four goals and two assists, edging his total to seven goals and four assists in fifty-six games.

Who wants Saile?

According to reports, Chippa United and SuperSport United are monitoring the 25-year-old and could soon be forced into a bidding war.

Kaizer Chiefs legend Itumeleng Khune believes Saile will enjoy life under Thabo September’s Chippa United, saying, “Saile’s strength is to run at defenders, but he has not shown that since coach Nasreddine Nabi took over,” he told SABC’s SoccerZone.

“Remember when he came, he used to bang in goals. He used to take on defenders, creating opportunities coming from the right-hand side as a left-footed player.

“But I think if Chippa United eventually sign him, they will make use of him, but with Kaizer Chiefs, I doubt,” Khune added.

The former Nchangha Rangers forward has all the tricks to be one the PSL most exciting players, but for reasons unknown has failed to show his true potential – perhaps a move away is just what he needs.
