There’s no question that Kaizer Chiefs are after quality players this time. Two of Amakhosi’s primary targets for next season rank among the best players on the continent.
Stellenbosch FC and Simba SC were among the CAF Confederation’s final four teams from last season, two names familiar to the Kaizer Chiefs nation.
As revealed in local media and East Africa over the past two months, Amakhosi are determined to sign Fawaaz Basadien and Denis Kibu.

As announced by CAF, Stellenbosch’s Basadien, who helped Stellies to the semifinals, was named the best left-back in the competition. Another Kaizer Chiefs target, Kibu, was recognised as the best right winger.
