EFF leader Julius Malema has once again criticised US President Donald Trump, calling him illiterate.
Addressing a crowd at the Zinniaville Sports Ground in Rustenburg, Malema took a swipe at the US leader and criticised his presidency. This attack on Trump comes after America decided to suspend financial aid to South Africa in February.
Just last month, Trump claimed that South Africa was confiscating land from white farmers and committing genocide, which was the ‘reason ‘ he skipped the G20 Summit in Johannesburg.
Malema slams Trump for his ‘illiteracy’
“Comrades, go na le monna o mongwe ka mo, bare ke [there is a certain man named] Donald Trump. The most illiterate president. Even Zuma was better than Donald Trump… America is an enemy of Africa,” said Malema.
“They don’t want stability in Africa. They don’t want any African leader who speaks for Africans. DRC has never known peace since the discovery of minerals in that particular country, because America wants to undermine the people of DRC.
“So, fighters, we want to make sure we expropriate land and give it to you, the people of Rustenburg, the people of Madibeng, the People of North West.”
Last month, Malema described Trump as delusional after the US president imposed tariffs.
