Months after his legacy came into question, South African-born comedian Trevor Noah has had his talent and capabilities come into question once more as American public figure Jordyn Taylor hopped on national TV to claim that the comedian used her for his material.

Late last year, Trevor Noah’s legacy came into question when users on the internet revealed that they never found the comedian funny, even during his ‘Day Walker’ days. It appears that some South Africans were not in agreement with Trevor’s move to the United States, as they mention the fact that he deserves any type of backlash he receives from his new audience.

The fight for his legacy appears to be nowhere near the end as American public figure Jordyn Taylor has revealed that she believes that Trevor stole some of his material from her. In the clip, Jordyn, who features on the reality TV show Selling the City, claims that she and Trevor met on X (formerly Twitter) and sparked a romantic relationship, which then led to the comedian appropriating some of her material.

Although these utterances alone were shocking to many South Africans and Trevor fans across the world, what shocked people, even more, is Jordyn referring to Trevor as a ‘nobody’ before they met, disregarding all of the comedian’s hard work that led him to hosting a coveted show such as the The Daily Show.

Similarly to the last time, Trevor was under attack, his supporters rallied behind the comedian to defend him against these claims made by his ex-girlfriend, concluding that she is likely still obsessed with their favourite comedian and attributing this stunt to that.
