Amabutho commander-in-chief, induna Sipho Mhlongo has ordered a manhunt for a TikTok user who is alleged to have disrespected the Zulu King, Misuzulu KaZwelithini on numerous occasions.

TikToker with username @max_makhanya3 is alleged to originate from Mbumbulu, South of Durban. It is said that Max took to his TikTok page and disrespected the Zulu monarch, claiming that he does not qualify to be a Zulu King, while he does not refer to him with a ‘King’ title but as ‘Misuzulu’.

The Zulu Kingdom, alongside the amabutho commander-in-chief, induna Sipho had a media briefing where they issued a warning to Max and alerted amabutho to look for him and bring him to the Zulu kingdom.

During the media briefing induna Sipho said: “For a long time, Max Makhanya has been disrespecting and undermining the King by making defamatory remarks. We were against it, to the point that we communicated with authorities of the Makhanya tribal authority, where he belongs. We told them this was annoying to the Zulu nation.

“The traditional prime minister of the Makhanya tribal authority worked on the matter and hunted Max. Unfortunately, it appeared that he moved from Durban to Joburg. We were trying to fix this before it got out of hand, but Max continues to make things worse. He is playing with fire,” he said.

Max took to his TikTok page to expressed his apologies for what all he said about King Misuzulu.
