Teko’s second marriage ends
Retired footballer Teko Modise is reportedly facing a second divorce just three years after tying the knot with his now estranged wife, Koketso.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star, who has reinvented himself as a stylish broadcaster and football commentator, is said to be in the middle of settlement talks, and the financial demands are making headlines.
According to a report by journalist Rapulane Tabane shared on X on Sunday, 13 July, Koketso is requesting R1.2 million as part of the divorce agreement.
The amount is allegedly to cover an overdraft and other financial matters she believes should be settled before the couple parts ways officially.
While the pair are reportedly aiming for a peaceful separation, money appears to be a sticking point.
Teko, who married Koketso in 2021, now faces yet another chapter of personal challenges in the public eye.
The two were married for three years before the relationship reportedly broke down.
Fans quickly reacted to the news on social media, with many expressing mixed feelings about the situation.
Modise, who was also previously married to Felicia Mokoena from 2010 to 2013, has a daughter from his first marriage and a son with Koketso.
