Mamelodi Sundowns star Kutlwano Letlhaku recently took to social media to give Orlando Pirates poster boy Relebohile Mofokeng his flowers.

Thanks to his huge social Mofokeng often trends whenever he posts or gets posted.

SUNDOWNS STAR PRAISE ORLANDO PIRATES’ RELEBOHILE MOFOKENG

The Orlando Pirates star is trending after receiving flowers from Kutlwano Letlhaku, who is dubbed the next big star from Sundowns.

Taking to Instagram, the 18-year-old shared a photo of Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng and captioned it, “The Best.”

No doubt the post has since gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped online.

Surprisingly, his Instagram post came barely after social media was divided about who the best young player in the country right now.

While others considered Relebohile Mofokeng to be the best young talent in the league, others said he is no longer considered young since he is now 20.

After all, the Sundowns star’s gesture left other fans more than convinced that ‘real recognise real.’

Kutlwano Letlhaku has been winning big with Mamelodi Sundowns’ DDC and senior teams. He has also had his fair share of success with the national junior team.

Rumour mill recently revealed that the club is considering offering him a long-term contract ending in 2028.

After all, he joins a host of players and legends who have praised Relebohile Mofokeng and lauded him as the ‘best of his time.’

Some notable legends who have praised the Orlando Pirates star include Jomo Sono, Kaizer Chiefs legend Siphiwe Tshabalala, Doctor Khumalo and more.

“I am impressed by Rele Mofokeng. I think he is ready to play for the national team and to play abroad.

“His form is confident and consistent, which is key; the boy has been great this far, helping the Pirates with goals and assists. He has been contributing,’ said Kaizer Chiefs legend Siphiwe Tshabalala.

CAREER

The 20-year-old star started his youth career with Transnet School of Excellence. He once played for Amandl/Vaal Juventus FC—before joining Orlando Pirates.

In 2022, he joined Orlando Pirates Youth Academy and was promoted to the senior team a year later.

Since then, he has won big and become the club’s poster boy. In 2023, he hogged headlines after having trials with English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves). 

Several European clubs are closely monitoring him including Spanish giants Barcelona FC.
