Kaizer Chiefs are linked with players from their PSL rivals, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Kaizer Chiefs are set for some big transfer business in the up-and-coming PSL transfer window in January with a plethora of talent linked to the club.

Moreover, Chiefs could sign Bongani Zungu at the cost of a couple of key player exits. Now, they are linked with players from Pirates and Sundowns too.

CHIEFS LINKED WITH SUNDOWNS AND PIRATES PLAYERS

Chiefs are linked with Sundowns man, Sphelele Mkhulise.

Meaning, he is the only current Sundowns player linked with Amakhosi. Meanwhile, two former Masandawana stars are linked with Amakhosi – Percy Tau and Bongani Zungu.

“It’s true there has been interest in Bongani Zungu by Chiefs, but there be a lot that has to change at Chiefs for them to then actually sign Zungu,” a source told SoccerLaduma.

Furthermore, Chiefs are also linked with a Pirates attacker.

The Soweto giants are reportedly monitoring Zakhele Lepasa. However, neither party has been reached for comment. Thus, no interest has been confirmed from Chiefs or Pirates.

NABI GIVEN THE GREEN LIGHT TO GO BIG

Amakhosi management have given Nasreddine Nabi the full financial backing in his pursuit of recruitment in the up-and-coming transfer window.

Additionally, Chiefs are already preparing an improved offer for Fiston Mayele. Whereas, Nabi has demanded that Chiefs sign Sundowns’ Bafana Bafana target.

With this financial backing and the buying power Chiefs possess, Amakhosi fans can likely expect some big signings in January. Specifically, up front with Chiefs prioritizing the need to secure an attacker.
