V&A Waterfront hosts spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration
The V&A Waterfront once again set the stage for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration, solidifying its place as Cape Town’s ultimate destination to ring in 2025.
Thousands of locals and visitors came together across the precinct to enjoy a vibrant evening filled with live music, festive cheer, and world-class entertainment.
The evening also featured incredible performances on the iconic stage with Table Mountain as a backdrop. Attendees were treated to a star-studded line-up, including crowd favourites, Mi Casa, Matthew Mole, BlackByrd, and Dr Victor & the Rasta Rebels.
Families and friends embraced the lively atmosphere, indulging in food stalls, entertainment, and scenic sunset cruises while soaking up the magic of the night.

With an impressive turnout of more than 200 000 visitors throughout the day within the neighbourhood, the celebration attracted people from far and wide, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Cape Town and the V&A Waterfront too.
