KITSHOFF’S SURGERY WAS A SUCCESS, NOW WE WAIT…

Kitshoff underwent neck fusion surgery on 20 November 2024.

The nature of this injury has sparked speculation over the Springbok veterans future. Firstly, it is a serious neck injury that very few sportsman have come back from. Secondly, as a prop, there is a tremendous amount of pressure on the neck. Especially, at scrum time.

PSDT SEE’S A SPECIALIST

The newly crowned World Rugby Player of the Year is on top of the world in every sense.

The Springboks flanker is the world’s best player. Moreover, he is a two-time world champion and now a two-time recipient of the prestigious award.

Unfortunately, all of that superhuman intensity and his incomprehensible work rate has come at a cost.

Du Toit was sent home from the Boks recent tour of the UK due to a shoulder niggle. Now, he has just seen a specialist and they will decide on the next steps in the coming days. The Springboks loose forward has not ruled out the possibility of surgery.
