SOMIZI SHARES HE HAS NOT FOUND LOVE AGIN AFTER HIS DIVORCE

The television personality, who has experienced many failed relationships, told TshisaLive that he has not found love after parting ways with Mohale.

Somizi has been candid about his sexuality for numerous years, having revealed in the 1990s that he identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

He was married to Mohale Motaung in 2020, but their divorce was finalised in 2023 following a tumultuous separation.

“I haven’t found love again. I am just mingling to mingle. I’m just having fun. There’s no love. I am in relationships,” he told the outlet.

SOMIZI ON BEING GENDER-FLUID

Reflecting on love, Mhlongo shared insights about himself that he had gained with age, he said:

“With age, you realise certain things, you discover yourself. I’ve realised I am possibly 80%-90% polygamous and I am pansexual.

“So, I’m exploring. I am just living my life and I discovered that later in my life and I am enjoying it.

“I am not committed to anyone, I don’t want anyone to commit to me,” he was quoted as saying.

Mhlongo further told the publication that he no longer wants anyone to own or control him.

“I’ve reached a stage in my life where I believe no one should own anyone, no one should control anyone. People must do what they want to do, as long as it’s in agreement with the partnership.”

SOMGAGA SILENCES HOMOPHOBES

Somizi has always supported the LGBTQ+ community and is well-known for his quick responses to homophobic remarks.

In 2020, he stood up for his friend Vusi Nova against trolls who claimed he was hiding his sexuality.

Somizi delivered a fiery response.

Angilwi ngiyabuza (I’m not fighting, I’m asking)..what’s the obsession with other people’s sexuality…its as if the answers will improve a certain aspect of your life….or as if it makes one feel better about themselves if they out someone else….trust me he is content and I hope you are too and enjoy your life,” he tweeted.
