Siya Kolisi posted, “My brother! So glad we got to spend time with you in Scotland. Thanks for the visit, my brother! We love you and appreciate you!”

The Springbok skipper highlighted Benni McCarthy has been breaking several barriers and inspiring South Africans to dream big.

He added, “You’ve broken so many barriers and now we can dream to achieve more no matter where we come from! You are an inspiration to all. I love you, Benni.”

Benni McCarthy is one of South Africa’s most successful and decorated footballers. He is arguably South Africa’s Greatest Footballer of All Time.

Benni McCarthy boasts 11 European titles, three local titles, and eight individual accolades as a player.

During his illustrious career, which spanned years, Benni McCarthy managed to star for several teams, including Ajax, Porto, and Orlando Pirates.

During 2003-2004, he went down in the history books of the Champions League after Porto won the UEFA Champions League under Jose Mourinho.

However, he has won big as a coach. Back home, he managed to restore lost glory for AmaZulu and Cape Town City. Benni McCarthy is part of the coaching team of European giant Manchester United.
