Springbok captain Siya Kolisi has removed the term ‘husband’ from his Instagram biography, just months after announcing his divorce from his wife, Rachel.
The 33-year-old superstar has also changed his profile picture, which featured him with his estranged wife. Kolisi also removed his Instagram highlights, which featured pictures of South Africa’s beloved couple.
In October of last year, Siya and Rachel Kolisi surprised many South Africans by revealing their divorce. Since the announcement, the couple has not been seen together, and it is believed that Rachel has moved to Cape Town with their children. Following the divorce, Rachel has publicly embraced her healing journey, while Kolisi has continued to play for the Sharks.

The two-time Rugby World Cup-winning captain has been in fine form for his club of late. This past weekend, he scored two tries to help the Sharks edge out Zebre 35-34 at the Kings Park.
“We make it so hard for ourselves,” Siya Kolisi said after the match.
“We get stuck in our 22, not kicking out. They were very good in broken play, they didn’t want structure,” he said of Zebre as per The Citizen.
“The coaches told us before the time. We watched clips and clips but we keep on making the same mistakes. It’s unacceptable because we could have lost the game today.”
Siya Kolisi rejoined the Sharks in September last year following an unsuccessful stint with French side Racing 92. There were also rumours that the Boks captain must leave the Durban outfit in favour of the Stormers.
