Controversial rapper Shebeshxt is trending after he took to social media to show off his new car.
Thanks to his huge social media following, photos and videos of his new car have gained thousands of comments and reactions since they dropped online.
SHEBESHXT FLAUNTS NEW R1 MILLION RIDE
Several blogs have since confirmed the news after Shebeshxt shared a post online. Against the trends, the South African has since connected the dots about his new car.
Shebeshxt bought a new Golf 8R, which has a base price tag of R950 000 in several dealerships, depending on trims and the year of manufacture.
However, his model reportedly costs over a million. Unlike before, he did not reveal whether he bought the car in cash.
The purchase comes months after he was involved in a fatal accident that claimed his daughter and left his car beyond repair.
The accident occurred on the R37 road near Smelters Mine outside Polokwane, not far from Chuene.
THIRD PURCHASE OF THE YEAR?
This is arguably his third purchase of the year. However, this is his second purchase after having an accident.
In January, he had an accident that damaged his car. Against the backdrop of the accident, the rumour mill had it that he had bought a new Golf 8 eTSi, but Mzansi rubbished the news since the model is not yet available in South Africa.
However, against the trends, Shebeshxt took to social media to show off a white Golf he had seemingly purchased soon after the accident.
The rapper shared photos at a car dealership as he received his new whip. He later uploaded videos of him driving the new car from the dealership.
However, in one of the viral videos, he bragged about splurging cash on his new Golf hatchback. Shebeshxt even shared the invoice for his latest purchase. Shebeshxt bought the car for R505 674.
“We don’t buy cars on installment. This is cash. Half a million and something. This is half a million. Check the total,” he said.
MAKING HEADLINES
Against a string of road accidents, many have called out the star for speeding and reckless driving.
However, several prophets have also warned the star about people trying to take his life. Earlier this year, a popular sangoma, Mkhulu Qheba, warned the rapper to be careful.
He claimed that he saw a vision of a woman putting muti in Shebeshxt’s food while he was at a gig in Vaal. However, against his claims, another “prophet” urged fans to pray for him.
The prophet revealed that “there are people who are after his life” because of a deal he would sign.
However, against the prophecies, Shebeshxt seemingly made it known that there are people after him. A few days after his first accident, the rapper posted, “They hired people to kill me. Pray for me.”
