The amapiano star, who previously faced heavy backlash in South Africa for saying he didn’t like taking pictures with fans because he “didn’t owe it to them,” is now enjoying a luxurious getaway in Doha, Qatar.
After publicly asking for forgiveness, it seems many fans have chosen to let bygones be bygones.
Maphuma recently shared a lively video on Instagram showing himself riding a jet ski, dancing, and throwing playful gestures at the camera while his track Phumically Interesting played in the background.
His upbeat post gave followers major FOMO, with many cheering him on in the comments and celebrating what seems to be a much-needed break after months of online drama.
