Lira’s mom is dead
Lerato Moipone Molapo, professionally known as Lira, announces her mother’s passing.
The South African singer shared an emotional photo on Instagram and revealed that her mother died on Wednesday, 20 November.
Lira didn’t attach a lengthy caption to the post, but she is undoubtedly heartbroken.
Friends and followers flooded the post with comforting words.
“Oh darling Lira, it’s rather hard to find the words. My deepest condolences, may the Lord be with you and your family during this difficult time,” Basetsana Kumalo wrote.
Another follower wrote, “Oh my friend, my njunjus. I am so so sorry. I dont know what to tell you to make the pain go away. Like i told you two weeks or so ago. I am here if you need me. Your mommy was your biggest supporter and cheerleader. My deepest condolences.”
