Zulumecca set to deliver beautiful music this year
South African rapper and actress Zulumecca reflected on the past years as she kicked off a new year.
The talented artist penned down her thoughts in a note which was shared on her Instagram stories.
In the note, Zulumecca whose real name is Mandisa Nduna revealed that the last time she made something good musically was in 2022.
The star made it known that most of her great works were inspired by loss.
However, she says 2025 will be deliveries of beautiful music despite facing the same predicament suffered over the past years.
“My greatest work has always been created from a place of yearning, or grieving. My writing after a great loss of any kind is raw, honest, potent. It’s the only way I know how to express. However my art dies when I’m at peace and is resurrected in my darkest moments. The missing messiah. If I’m honest, the last time I made something I believed was great was 2022. WEPT. was created from a place of mourning. Losing a relationship I thought would be my last, and a life I’d been very intentional about building. 2025 finds me in the same predicament. Lucky for you, the music will be beautiful,” she wrote.
