News of Sue and JP Duminy’s divorce has come as a surprise to many of their followers, including Rachel Kolisi, who has also had a high-profile split from her spouse, Siya Kolisi.
The retired Proteas player announced his separation in an Instagram statement.
JP and Sue married in 2011 and are parents to two daughters.
RACHEL KOLISI REACTS TO SUE AND JP DUMINY DIVORCE NEWS
In a joint Instagram post, Sue and JP Duminy confirmed speculation about their relationship status.
He wrote: “After much consideration, Sue and I have decided to part ways. We were fortunate to share many memorable moments together during our marriage and blessed with two beautiful daughters.
The couple asked the public for “privacy” as they “navigate this transition” through their divorce.
“Though our paths diverge, we remain friends, and our separation amicable”, added the statement.”
Although JP Duminy turned off comments on the post, it was evidently liked by Rachel Kolisi, the soon-to-be ex-wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi.
Less than six months ago, the Kolisi’s announced the shocking news of their split.
At the time, JP’s wife, Sue, offered her support and love to Rachel in the comments section under her Instagram post.

TRANSITIONING TO CO-PARENTS
Like Rachel Kolisi, JP Duminy’s former partner, Sue Duminy, is transitioning to life as a single mom.
Ironically, JP Duminy still has the word “husband” in his Instagram bio, as Siya Kolisi did in the aftermath of the divorce announcement.
Sue’s IG – which has since been set to private – has a bio that simply brands herself as a digital creator.
She also posts plenty of pictures portraying herself as a single mom, and she has also unfollowed his official account.
