Rachel Kolisi, along with her two children, appears to be having a ball on her holiday in Australia.

Bombshell divorce

Missing from the family vacation is, of course, Siya Kolisi.

The Springboks captain and Sharks loose forward dropped a bombshell two months ago when he announced he and wife of eight years, Rachel, would be divorcing.

Whether Siya would’ve boarded a flight Down Under in any case is uncertain, with the Sharks still in United Rugby Championship (URC) action during December.

Rachel Kolisi has been updating her nearly 600 000 Instagram followers about her vacation in Australia.

In her most recent post on Tuesday, Rachel can be seen applying sunscreen as she hit the beach in Sydney.

She captioned the post: “Sydney is growing on me. So blessed to be spending a few days with family soaking up joy and lots of love! ❤️”

Also on the holiday are Rachel’s brother Joel and his wife, retired South African Olympic star Tatjana Smith nee Schoenmaker, as well as Siya’s sister, Liyema.

They also spent time with former Samoan rugby star Sailosi Tagicakibau and his wife Hannah and their kids.

WHAT WILL SIYA KOLISI BE DOING FOR CHRISTMAS?

While Rachel Kolisi and the kids enjoy time in Australia, Siya has a busy schedule as a key member of his Sharks side.

The Sharks still have two URC fixtures in December, both against fellow South African sides:

Saturday, 21 December – Sharks vs Bulls, Hollywoodbets Kings Park, Durban – 18:00

Saturday, 28 December – Stormers vs Sharks, Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town – 17:00

The Sharks will then take a short break before their first clash of 2025 against French giants Toulouse in the Champions Cup on Saturday, 11 January in Durban.

DO YOU THINK SIYA AND RACHEL KOLISI WILL REUNITE IN 2025?
