Rachel Kolisi has broke her silence on her split from Springboks captain Siya Kolisi via an Instagram post on Saturday 2 November.

Mom of two Rachel Kolisi has broke her silence, following the announcement of her split from husband, Springboks captain Siya Kolisi. She has shared an Instagram post reflecting on the decision to end their marriage and thanked everyone for their love.

Rachel shared a photo along with the post. Take a look…

“This is so hard. I have genuinely been overwhelmed by kindness and love and I’m so grateful.
Fully committed to my healing journey. Peace is my portion,” she wrote.

Rachel and Siya met back in 2012 and tied the knot in 2016. The pair have two children together – Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7). The reason behind the divorce is unclear.

This comes after the pair shocked Mzansi with the announcement of their split on 22 October. In the joint statement, the pair revealed that they have made the decision to split out of love, respect and understanding.

They also revealed that they will remain great friends as they co-parent their two children with the loce they have always known.

“We wanted to share some important news with you. After much reflection and open conversations, we have mutually decided to end our marriage,” read the joint statement.

“This decision comes from a place of love, respect and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us. While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known,” read the joint statement.
