Social media was abuzz after photos of a sleek Lamborghini Mansory Venatus Urus made rounds online.

The car is arguably the only Lamborghini Mansory Venatus in South Africa and was recently spotted in Johannesburg with popular car spotter South Africa Supercars.

R8.5 MILLION LAMBORGHINI SPOTTED IN SOUTH AFRICA

Taking to Instagram, @southafrica.supercars shared photos of the car he seemingly spotted in Bedfordview taking a spin.

Indeed, photos of the sleek Lamborghini have gained thousands of comments and reactions since they were posted on Instagram.

Petrolheads were no doubt quick to give the car a nod. Against the trends, some quickly included its price tag in the mix.

However, several dealerships in South Africa haven’t listed the sleek Lamborghini.

The car has a base price tag of around R9 million. This is arguably R4 million more than a normal Lamborghini Urus listed in several dealerships nationwide.

WHY IS IT SPECIAL?

The car was reportedly built by @race1_ in Johannesburg and first made headlines in 2021. However, the car boasts:

  • Mansory Venatus Widebody kit with a unique carbon weave
  • 24″ Mansory wheels with carbon aero disks
  • Matte dark grey wrap
  • Akrapovic exhaust and custom orange details

Apart from its trims, the Lamborghini is arguably the best SUV in the country. Some of its outstanding specs include:

  • All-wheel drive (AWD)
  • Engine: 4.0L Twin-Turbocharged V8
  • Power: 478 kW / 641 hp
  • Torque: 850 Nm
  • Transmission: 8-Speed Automatic
  • Acceleration: 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds
  • Top Speed: 305 km/h

The sleek Lamborghini Urus joins some of Race’s customised cars that hogged headlines this year.

A few months ago, DJ Black Coffee’s customised Mercedes-Benz G 63 Brabus topped trends after its photos made rounds on social media. Race customised the car, and it’s a beauty.

It boasts a full Inozetek wrap and signature Race! Blackout Brabus front bumper lip and drl. The car also has a super sprint exhaust system and a spare wheel delete kit.

OTHER RARE SPOTTINGS

In August, one of the 499 ever-made Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M was spotted in South Africa. Only 499 examples made it to the market.

According to Ferrari, the units were offered exclusively to carefully selected clients. Ferrari used the Scuderia Spider 16M to commemorate the 16th F1 Constructor’s World Championship.

The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, making it one of the fastest road-legal Ferraris.
