Rachel Kolisi – the soon-to-be ex-wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi – has met a real-life Prince – William!

The philanthropist was part of a local delegation invited to speak at the royal’s Earthshot Week event, an environmental sustainability-focused charity programme.

The heir to the British throne is currently on a four-day trip to Cape Town, which kicked off on Monday, 4 November.

RACHEL KOLISI MEETS PRINCE WILLIAM

Just two weeks after announcing her sad split from Siya, Rachel Kolisi revealed her plans to speak on day one of Earthshot, which, for the first time, is being held on the African continent.

In a clip posted on TikTok, the mom-of-two was seen mingling with Prince William at a Youth Climate Leaders Programme. Rachel – representing the Kolisi Foundation – was invited to speak at the workshop.

According to the local charity, Rachel participated in a panel discussion that welcomed over 100 youth from around the world with the common goal of driving sustainable change.

Like Earthshot – which is committed to funding young conservationists innovative solutions towards environmentalism  – the Kolisi Foundation is also geared at upskilling and providing job opportunities to the youth.

SIYA MINGLES WITH ROYALS TOO

Rachel Kolisi’s partner, Siya, has also mingled with royalty.

In 2018, the Springbok captain first met Prince William following a rugby match against Wales, whom he is a patron of.

A year later, Siya would meet William’s younger brother, Prince Harry, who also stopped by in the changerooms to congratulate the Boks, who had just won the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Siya is likely to cross paths with Prince William again when the Springboks play England and Wales on 16 and 23 November respectively.
