Polygamist and reality TV star Musa Mseleku is facing serious allegations from his former colleagues, Zakhele Gumede and Musa Ntsebesha, who claim he owes them a staggering R200 000 for their contributions in establishing his production company, UThando Nesthembu.
This shocking revelation was made during Musa’s appearance on the Daily Reports Platform Podcast, where he laid bare more details of his working relationship with Musa Mseleku’s project, which he had been trying to launch for five years without success.
Musa, who has a background in music, theatre, and artist management, referred to himself as a “hustler” on the podcast. He explained that Musa Mseleku approached him after seeing his impressive work on one of his wives MaKhumalo, believing he could replicate that success with UThando Nesthembu. “He was impressed with my work and asked me to assist him,” Musa said.
The polygamist painted a picture of grandeur, promising Musa and his colleague Zakhele that their lives would change for the better. “He promised us heaven and earth. He said our lives will never be the same again,” Musa recalled. The verbal agreement included a condition: they would each own 2% shares in the ‘Thanks Ma’ company.
Musa further shared that their first shoot coincided with the birthday of the first wife, Macele and the crew consisted of students from the film industry.
He described to the podcast long hours, with early mornings and late nights, as they worked tirelessly to produce content about polygamy.
Despite their hard work, Musa says Musa Mseleku never delivered on his promises of ownership or the R200 000 payment as they only received R10 000 each. He expressed frustration at feeling used, despite the effort he put into helping the reality TV star succeed.
