Revered former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has taken on a variety of interesting coaching roles in recent years, the latest of which took him to Iranian topflight side Esteghlal.

Jingles, as he is affectionately known as, has begun to achieve some impressive on-field results of late, but he has reportedly not received his salary payment for months, and has now laid down an ultimatum along with his support team.

“The notice to the club was sent yesterday, and they had 24 hours to respond to it, or consider terminating the contract. The ball is now in their court and remember this is a matter that has been reported to FIFA as well,” an impeccable source told SABC Sport.

Previously, Mosimane’s wife and agent Moira Tlhagale confirmed the ordeal.

“It is true, we are owed money” she said in a short response.

PITSO MOSIMANE COULD BECOME AVAILABLE ON THE JOB MARKET AGAIN

Mosimane last coached in South Africa when he was in charge of Mamelodi Sundowns, having been at the helm of Masandawana during a memorable stint between 2012 and 2020.

This ultimately provided the platform for him to secure a high-profile gig with Egyptian giants Al Ahly, where he was hugely successful.
