Pirates announced on Monday that Riveiro will be leaving the club earlier than anticipated after signing with a new club.
Orlando Pirates FC will be looking for maximum points when they face Golden Arrows in what will be Jose Riveiro’s last game in charge of the team.
Riveiro will leave the Buccaneers prematurely after the Betway Premiership match against Abafana Bes’thende at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto tonight.

Ahead of the match, assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi insisted that it was important for the Buccaneers to fight for three points in this encounter following their disappointing 2-1 loss to rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup final last weekend.
“It is normal preparation for us. (We had) one day in between the match against the tough Lamontville Golden Arrows outfit. We have one responsibility and that is to fight for three points,” Ncikazi told Pirates media.

The Spaniard is said to be heading to Egypt to take over the head coach reins at African giants Al-Ahly.
Ncikazi will lead Pirates on an interim basis until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, former Mamelodi Sundowns coaches Pitso Mosimane and Rulani Mokwena have been linked with the Pirates coaching job.
Gavin Hunt, who recently left SuperSport United, has also been linked with the job.
