Orlando Pirates have added a curious name to their growing list of transfer targets in the winter. Is this PSL star the solution?

Pirates zero in on Zindoga

According to Soccer Laduma, Orlando Pirates want to sign 26-year-old Zimbabwean striker Junior Zindoga from Marumo Gallants. The burly forward isn’t the most prolific marksman on the planet, but is admired for his impressive physicality and work ethic.

“The boy has been impressive, and Pirates are one of the clubs monitoring him. His physical presence upfront and his high work rate have made him stand out,” said the source.

Champions League quarters next for Orlando Pirates

Pirates will be quietly confident they can stamp their ticket into the Champions League semi-finals. They face the Algerian side MC Alger over two legs in the quarter-finals. The first leg takes place on Tuesday, 01 April at 21:00 in North Africa. Alger is currently in charge of the Algerian Ligue 1 with a seven-point lead at the summit. That’s after 20 league outings.
