Orlando Pirates never really rest in the transfer market. Sinoxolo Kwayiba may soon leave Chippa United for Soweto.
ORLANDO PIRATES TO SIGN SINOXOLO KWAYIBA
After four goals and one assist in 11 games for the Chilli Boys last season, reports say the Sea Robbers are interested in the newly capped 24-year-old Bafana Bafana midfielder.
According to the report, Orlando Pirates are leading two other clubs from Gauteng, and could include a swap deal offer.
“Pirates are the ones that have moved faster in trying to acquire the services of Sinoxolo (Kwayiba),” a source told Soccer Laduma.
“The technical team has been impressed so far in what they have seen from the player and that’s why they want to involve a player exchange to influence the deal.
“It could be money plus players involved. But what I can tell you is that Pirates are in the forefront to get him,” the source concluded.
ORLANDO PIRATES TARGET DANIEL MSENDAMI
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates wingers Gilberto and Katlego Otladisa are struggling to make an impact. The club has now started to target a star at Marumo Gallants and the Zimbabwe national side.
After playing just four games for Marumo Gallants since his move from Jwaneng Galaxy in Botswana, reports say the 23-year-old Msendami has attracted Orlando Pirates.
“What we are not sure of is whether it’s for January or next season but what I can tell you is that the technical team are believed to be happy with the player,” a source told Soccer Laduma.
“The good thing is he is still young and can join the c still need him. But for now, it has just been inquiries.”
THREE TRANSFERS FROM MARUMO GALLANTS
Looking at the business history between the two club, Orlando Pirates have signed three players from Bahlabane Ba Ntwa over the past three seasons:
- Miguel Timm
- Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo
- Katlego Otladisa.
